Paul J.H. Schoemaker's recent article with George S. Day, titled "Are You a 'Vigilant Leader?'," is featured as the cover article in the Spring 2008 issue of MIT's Sloan Management Review. The article focuses on traits that characterize vigilant executives: focusing externally, applying strategic foresight and encouraging exploration by others; and provides relevant case examples of when organizations without such leadership "miss the boat."
