News from Within: Expanding the DSI Team
DSI is pleased to announce the joining of Mr. Christopher Baran to the firm as a senior consultant. Mr. Baran has over 18 years of program management and engineering experience in the aerospace, telecom, IT and financial services sectors.
He was Vice President, Orbital Sciences leading multiple high performance teams delivering high technology development programs. He also served multiple roles in program and engineering management as well as manufacturing and business development while at Lockheed Martin, formerly General Electric. Most recently, Mr. Baran was Director of Capital One’s internal infrastructure strategy group where he led IT infrastructure implementations and co-led their internal program management center of excellence.
Mr. Baran has a BSEE from Lehigh University and an MSEE from Drexel University
where he focused on microwave and digital communications as well as management.
He additionally received management training at General Electric’s
Jack Welch Leadership Center.
