The IT Services business is poised for dramatic change, as new technologies emerge, traditional product margins diminish, and new product opportunities arise. But not enough is known about the risk factors and opportunities that lie ahead.
Working with the Service Support Professionals Association (SSPA), DSI has developed and produced a new industry report: Report on Future Scenarios for IT Services. The goal is to enable higher quality strategic thinking among IT providers, and ultimately drive superior decision-making by ongoing monitoring of the changing dynamics in the IT Services sector external environment.
This new industry report will:
- Help IT professionals anticipate key opportunities and challenges in the IT Services space
- Help IT industry stakeholders achieve strategic alignment and foster deep dialog on key growth decisions
- Provide IT companies with a strategic lens and a robust process for identifying innovative, winning strategies in the future
- Equip IT decision-makers with an early warning capability to respond to important "weak signals" in the environment that might indicate movement in the direction of a particular scenario
- Ultimately, help IT companies improve strategic decision making under uncertainty and reduce their risk exposure
