Toomas H. Truumees

Mr. Truumees joined Decision Strategies International (DSI) in 2005 and is a Director in the company’s consulting practice. He has over a decade of experience in corporate strategy and business development and has wide-ranging experience advising clients from the Fortune 500 to pre-IPO size organizations.
At DSI, Mr. Truumees has responsibilities in all aspects of the firm’s management, including leadership of the Healthcare practice, business development, resource allocation, and strategic account / portfolio management. His past and current clients include Johnson & Johnson, Wyeth, Merck, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, BMS, Mayo Clinic, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Coca-Cola, News Corp, AT&T, and Heineken USA. In addition, Mr. Truumees has provided strategic support to numerous non profit associations and small and medium sized businesses across diverse industries.
Prior to joining DSI, Mr. Truumees was a consultant with Monitor Company, a premier international consulting firm, where he managed projects in the firm's Cambridge and New York offices. His work at Monitor focused on competitive positioning, mergers and acquisitions, and new business development. He consulted to senior management at Fortune 500 clients in the pharmaceuticals, media, consumer products, telecom, and financial services industries as well as working with the Leadership Team of Monitor's strategy practice.
Mr. Truumees attended the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business graduating magna cum laude with a degree in American History and a concentration in Strategic Management.
