Franklin Shen
Director, Information Services Franklin Shen is the Director of Strategic Radar. Through this role, Franklin provides clients consulting tools and content to support strategy and decision making. He works with companies and organizations in the planning, analysis, and execution of creating a systemized process for making more informed decisions based on the future environment. He also manages the development of the software services of DSI to continually adapt to the environment and the needs of companies and organizations. Since starting with the firm, Franklin has worked with numerous clients including AAHSA, ASIS, Bank of Montreal, CUES, DARPA, DuPont, GSK, Lockheed, Mayo Clinic, Merrill Lynch, NASA, National Grid, Pfizer and the U.S. Navy. In addition, he has helped in the production of the scenario reports 2015: Scenarios for the Future of Human Resource Management and The Future of the Biosciences and served as a contributor for Navigating Uncertainty: Future Scenarios for Technology Services, 2016: Future Scenarios for the U.S. Dairy Industry and The Long and Winding Road: Histories of Aging Services in America 2006-2016. Before joining DSI, Franklin worked with Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania, where he aided in due diligence and research of investment opportunities. He also managed the organization's mentoring program to help develop and foster the ventures supported by the company. Franklin holds a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in math from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. He still actively participates with the university as a board member of the Pan-Asian American Community House and a chapter representative of the University of Pennsylvania Asian American Alumni Network. |
