Patti Owens
Chief Strategy Officer
Patti Owens currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer at DSI, a position she has held since joining the firm in October 2007. Ms. Owens brings more than 20 years of experience in business leadership, sales management, strategic planning and organizational behavior to the Company. Prior to joining DSI, Ms. Owens held various executive positions with the Procter and Gamble Distributing Company, Goldman, Sachs & Co., SEI Investments, Bryn Mawr Trust Company and PNC Bank.
Ms. Owens has served on the Board of the Forum of Executive Women, where she was Chair of the Sponsorship Committee, the Board of Trustees of the Abington Memorial Hospital Foundation (as Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee) and the Women's Initiative of the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. She has been a featured expert guest on The Learning Channel and Bloomberg TV, as well as a keynote speaker at various Estate Planning Councils in Philadelphia. In 2008, Ms. Owens was also named one of Pennsylvania's Best 50 Women in Business by Pennsylvania's Department of Community & Economic Development.
Ms. Owens earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Princeton University, where she was awarded All-American honors in both Field Hockey and Lacrosse. She graduated from Harvard University with a Masters in Business Administration degree. Ms. Owens holds both Series 7 and 63 licenses.
