Samantha Howland
Managing Director, Executive Development
Samantha Howland is Managing Director, Executive Development with Decision Strategies International, Inc. She leads the executive education practice building long-term relationships with organizations intent on increasing the strategic capabilities of their workforce. The Executive Development practice provides world-class educational programs in the areas of critical thinking, decision making, strategy and innovation. Executive program assessments, design, courses and measurement instruments are delivered through corporate universities, association venues as well as through faculty appointments and partnerships at Wharton and other leading business schools.
Samantha has worked for over 18 years in leadership positions on strategy and organizational development. At DSI she works closely with commercial clients in various sectors on program management and in an organizational consulting capacity. She has also worked extensively with association clients on future industry studies and their strategic implications for organizations and professionals.
Prior to joining DSI, Samantha held senior executive positions in leading technology sector companies in healthcare systems and managed services. Internally, Samantha held functional responsibility for corporate development including strategy, human resources, organizational development and project management. She also held Practice Leadership positions responsible for sales and large consulting team delivery of systems implementation and maintenance services to Fortune 1000 companies.
Samantha has worked extensively throughout her career with clients to align strategy with culture, structure and workforce development initiatives. Today Samantha applies this expertise to organizations seeking to manage more dynamic growth and innovation. She has an undergraduate degree from Vassar College and a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.
